In 2013, EnerGeo proposed an all geothermal neighborhood vision to developers of Kennewick's new upscale neighborhood on the southwest side of Thompson Hill. EnerGeo and E-Mac Excavating broke ground on the first lot of over 400 to come in SouthCliffe in August of 2013. Partnering with ClimateMaster, SouthCliffe, when complete, will be the largest all-geothermal neighborhood in the nation. EnerGeo is working with other SouthCliffe approved HVAC contractors to create this energy efficient community that will save homeowners an estimated $700 to $1,100 annually on their energy bills.
In the fall of 2014, three of the first four homes built in SouthCliffe were featured in the Home Builder Association's annual Parade of Homes. Now sold, SouthCliffe homeowners enjoyed electricity bills as low as $60 in June and July 2015.
